Introduction

Output 1 of the European Project ``Eco/logical Learning and Simulation Environments in Higher Education" (ELSE) starting from September 2018 until March 2021.

The Project is part of the Erasmus+ Key Action 203 and consists of 11 Partners including:

  1. Universita Degli Studi Della Tuscia (Italy);
  2. The Manchester Metropolitan University (UK);
  3. West University of Timisoara (Romania);
  4. International Balkan University (Macedonia)
  5. Politecnico di Milano (Italy);
  6. University of Cyprus (Cyprus);
  7. Universidad de Cadiz (Spain);
  8. Instituto Politecnico do Porto (Portugal);
  9. Uniwersytet Im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznanu (Poland);
  10. Universitatea Petru Maior (Romania);
  11. Entropy Knowledge Network (Italy).

The main goal of the project is to design an integrated curriculum, including contemporary and innovative practices, where the delivery of academic contents is coterminous with, and enhanced by, the acquisition of competences and transversal skills for the digital age. The problem that will be tackled throughout the project involves generating innovative teaching and learning techniques, taking into account that technology and digitalization alone do not generate such techniques.
